Dr.Web® for Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris (x86) software provides real-time anti-virus protection for mail and Samba file servers, detecting and stopping viruses in both mail traffic and files and compressed files in real time - before they are dropped into the end-user`s mail box or put onto the file server. The product consists of a daemon module (DrWebD) communicating with filters specially designed to check mail handled by such agents as Sendmail, QMail,
Postfix, Communigate Pro, Zmailer, Courrer, Exim and Samba file server.

Besides the daemon module the product also includes a command-line anti-virus on-demand scanner which can be used to scan local, network amd removable drives for viruses out of the UNIX environment.
